In schools, daycares, community centers…

We offer sessions in schools organised by themes. These can take place over a semester or all year long and can be presented as an after school activity or take place during class time.

As an after school activity we offer:

For in-class sessions, we offer different programs based on the children’s age and level. Our objective is to make kids love learning English. We use a lot of games, songs and fun activities in our lessons. We like to work in collaboration with the teachers at the schools where we work when possible. This allows us to work on projects in English that they’re doing in French.

From kindergarten to CP, the children will learn to introduce themselves, count to ten, identify the colours, and more. They will enrich their vocabulary in English by singing many songs in several classes, and by playing games that are related to the current theme being studied in class. There will also be many hands-on activities such as cutting-and-pasting, colouring, making collages and many other arts and crafts! Some of the songs learned at this level will include:

Some of the games used at this level will include:

  • Humpty Dumpty Game (learning the parts of the body)
  • Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes (learning the parts of the body)
  • Insey Winsey Spider (learning colours and shapes)
  • Red Dog Blue Dog (learning colours)
  • Shopping List Food and Clothes (learning food and clothing)

From the CE1 to CE2 levels, the children continue expanding their vocabulary and begin to work on reading in English as well as listening carefully to English –all while having fun! The kids first learn how to find and use their vocabulary words, then they move on to reading and constructing sentences as well as learning how to use numbers. The songs used in this level include these (and more!):

  • Animal Safari (learning about the animals in the savannah)
  • Jack and the Beanstalk (learning about shapes)
  • Pop to the Shops (learning about actions and activities)
